Filipino American Comedians: Rex Navarrette, Ron Josol, and Air Tabigue will be having a comedy night event, “I love Pinoy, A Night of Comedy in New York City.” Rex Navarrette will be the main comedy act of the night with special guests Ron Josol and Air Tabigue.     Regine Velasquez, the star of upcoming Kapuso GMA 7’s teleserye, “Ako si Kim Sam-Soon” and the reigning Asia’s Songbird will be competing with her voice talent with Lani Misalucha, the Asia’s Nightingale and the star of Society of 7 with Lani Misalucha. Both Regine Velasquez and Lani Misalucha will fighting using their voice and belting out talents at the Duel of the Divas. Martin Nievera, the concert king and former husband of concert Queen, Pops Fernandez will be joining the royal rumble as their special guest. The world famous event will take place at two locations; one at Los Angeles in the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and the other one is at San Francisco in Nob Hill Masonic Center. The concert, The Dual of the Divas starring Regine Velasquez, Lani Misalucha, and Martin Nievera will take place at 8:30pm and both Los Angeles and San Francisco event will be on Saturday. Starmedia Entertainment is producing this world famous event of Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez; Asia’s Nightingale, Lanie Misalucha; and the Concert King, Martin Nievera.

    Get off at Embarcadero Station. The California Street Cable Car is located at California and Jackson Streets and will stop at California and Taylor Streets. The #1 California Bus is located at Sacramento and Front Streets and will stop at Cushman Street.

    MUNI
    The #1 California Bus Eastbound runs on Clay Street. Exit at Jones Street and walk two blocks south to California Street. The #1 California Bus Westbound runs on Sacramento Street. Exit Cushman Street and walk one block south to California Street.

    CABLE CAR
    The California Street Cable Car runs east and west on California Street from Van Ness Ave to Market Street. Traveling either direction exit Taylor Street.

    FROM THE EAST BAY
    Take the 9th Street/Civic Center exit. Turn right onto 9th Street, stay in the right lanes. Cross Market Street and continue onto Larkin Street. Turn right on California Street. The building is on the right side just past Jones Street.

    FROM NORTH BAY
    Cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Take the Downtown/ Lombard exit and continue on Lombard Street. Turn right on Gough Street. Turn left onto California Street. Building is located on the right just past Jones Street.

    FROM SOUTH BAY
    Go north on 101. Take the 9th Street/Civic Center exit and turn left on 9th Street. Stay in the right two lanes. Cross Market Street and continue onto Larkin Street. Turn right on California Street and continue uphill to the Nob Hill Masonic Center, on the right side just past Jones Street.

    From the 210 westbound
    Take the 210 freeway west to the Fair Oaks/Marengo exit. Turn left on Marengo and proceed 4 blocks to Green Street. Turn left onto Green Street, the Pasadena Civic is located on the right hand side at 300 E Green.

    From the 210 southbound
    Take the 210 freeway south to the Colorado Blvd exit on to St John Ave. Continue south on St John past Colorado Blvd and turn left onto Green Street. Travel five blocks east on Green Street. The Pasadena Civic is located on the right hand side at 300 E Green.

    From the 134 eastbound
    Take the 134 east to the Fair Oaks/Marengo exit. Turn right on Marengo and proceed 4 blocks to Green Street. Turn left onto Green Street and the Pasadena Civic is located on the right hand side at 300 E Green.

    From the 110 northbound
    Take the 110 freeway north to the end of the freeway. The freeway ends at a stoplight. Proceed through the stoplight, you are now on Arroyo Parkway. Exactly one mile from the stoplight you will come to Green Street. Turn right onto Green Street, the Pasadena Civic is located two blocks down on the right hand side at 300 E Green.

    The longest noon time variety show in the Philippines, Eat Bulaga and rival of Wowwawee will be having a concert here in the United States. The name of the tour is Kagat Labi. Eat Bulaga is hosted by Tito, Vic, and Joey. The other hosts of the Eat Bulaga show includes: Wally, Jimmy Santos, Jose, Julia Clarete, Anjo Yllana, Pauleen Luna, Pia Guianno, Allan K, and Francisc Magalona. Other guests includes: GMA 7’s Dyesebel Love teams Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo stars and newly engaged Filipino artisas ‘ Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo. The concert will be in Los Angeles Sports Arena on Saturday July 19, 2008 at 7:30pm.

    FlyAway
    A fast, affordable ride ($3) between Downtown and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or between Van Nuys Airport (VNY) and LAX. Tickets can be purchased from the FlyAway kiosk in the Patsaouras terminal or the Van Nuys FlyAway. Remote baggage check-in and boarding passes are available.

    The Union Station bus departs every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., and each hour from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. FlyAway buses run 24 hours a day. From the San Fernando Valley, the FlyAway service runs between the VNY and LAX 24 hours a day, with 30-minute departures between 4:45 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and hourly service from midnight to 4:30 a.m.
