The Philippines Fiesta in America 2008, the largest indoor gathering of Filipinos in the East Coast, will be having its 10th annual event in New Jersey. The Philippines Fiesta in America 2008 is the biggest Filipino trade show event where American and foreign businesses showcase their products and services to target the Filipino American community. According to the 2000 Census, Filipino Americans have a purchasing power of $52 billion annually.

The Philippines Fiesta in America 2008 will have booths and pavilions to showcase the Filipino culture and heritage. Also, at the Philippines Fiesta in America 2008 there will be trade pavilion, where businesses can promote their products and services to the Filipino American community; Filipino food court, which showcase Filipino dishes from different regions of the Philippines such as Bicol Express, Igado, Pinakbet, Kare-Kare and many more. Also there at the Philippines FIesta in America 2008’s Filipino food court, there will be Filipino street foods such as barbeque on stick, fish balls, sago at gulaman. The Philippines Fiesta in America 2008 will have children’s pavilion, where Filipino children and kids at heart can learn about Philippines Folklores like Maria Makiling, get face paint, crafts-making and folk dances. In addition at the Philippines Fiesta in America 2008, there will be an entertainment and cultural festival, which Filipino talents from the Philippines and the US will showcase their talent and skills in dancing and singing. At the Philippines Fiesta in America 2008, there will be comedy acts and musical concerts. Marian Rivera, Dingong Dantes, and Bea Alonzo will be the Filipino celebrities that will appear at the Philippines Fiesta in America 2008. The Phillippines Fiesta in America 2008 is a two days weekend event on Saturday, August 16, 2008 and Sunday August 17, 2008.

  • FROM NORTH (RTS. 80 & 95 & GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE:

Take NJ Turnpike South, when it divides use the Eastern Spur towards the Lincoln Tunnel. Take Exit 17; stay right towards Secaucus immediately after paying toll. Go straight through traffic light and over bridge. You are now on Harmon Meadow Blvd. Go to second traffic light and turn right onto Plaza Drive. Exposition Center is on your left.

  • FROM SOUTH (NEWARK AIRPORT)

Take NJ Turnpike North. When it divides, use the Eastern Spur towards Lincoln Tunnel. Take Exit 16E, after the tollbooths, follow signs for Secaucus. At traffic light, go straight across and over bridge. You are now on Harmon Meadow Blvd. Go to second traffic light and turn right onto Plaza Drive. Exposition Center is on your left.

  • FROM LINCOLN TUNNEL

Stay on main road (I-495) to Rt. 3 West. Do not take the Turnpike. Keep right on Route 3 to Second Service Road Exit for Harmon Meadow Blvd. (Linens N Things will be on your right). At first traffic light, turn left nto Harmon Meadow Blvd. At next traffic light, make a right onto Plaza Drive. Exposition Center is on your left.

  • FROM WEST (RT. 3 EAST)

Stay on Route 3 East (passing Giants Stadium and Meadowlands Parkway). Take Service Road for Secaucus/NJ Turnpike. Pass Turnpike entrance, go under overpass and make quick right for Harmon Meadow Blvd. (large blue sign for the Plaza at Harmon Meadow, listing the Expo Center). You will be on Harmon Meadow Blvd. Go to second traffic light, turn right onto Plaza Drive. Exposition Center is on your left.

  • FROM JERSEY CITY (RTS. 1 & 9)

Take it North. Go left on Paterson Plank Road & Harmon Meadow Blvd. Exit. Turn right on Harmon Meadow Blvd. NOT HARMON MEADOW PLAZA! Go to second traffic light, turn right onto Plaza Drive. Exposition Center is on your left.

  • FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY

NORTH: Take Exit 153 to Route 3 East. Follow as above #4
SOUTH: Take Exit 153A to Route 3 East. Follow as above #4.
