About Chokwang Performers

POKWANG

POKWANG, is a Filipina comedienne, television host, actress and singer. Since willing the grand prize in ABS-CBN reality show contest Clown in a Million, she has become an unstoppable force in the industry. She then then became a recognizable face in the industry, subsequently appeared in dramas and sitcoms of the network. She has received the Best Comedy Actress award from the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) for her portrayal in the sitcom Aalog-Alog and the Best Female Comedian award from People’s Choice Awards. She is a well-known co-host of variety show Wowowee, entertaining the viewers everyday with her funny antics and witty spiels for the said noontime show.

Pokwang appeared on some of ABS-CBN’s TV series such as “My Girl” (2008), “That’s My Doc” (2007), and “Ysabella” (2007).

Pokwang just recently launched her album with Star Records titled “Pokwang…Ang Album Na May Puso”, featuring the carrier single, “Sana Kunin Ka Na Ni Lord”.

Pokwang is a member of ABS CBN’s Star Magic group of entertainers.

CHOKOLEIT

CHOKOLEIT is a well-known stand-up comedian and sing-along master. He performs in music and comedy bars like Punchline, Laffline, Purple Edge and Musicbox. His passion in comedy was the reason he made it through the mainstream showbiz. His showbiz break came in 2004 and opened new doors for him in show business when he joined the cast of director Wen Deramas in “Marina” as Pearly Shell. Chokoleit has its sweet rewards as he has become one of the more popular faces in ABS-CBN shows, such as TV series “Komiks” (2006), and “Kampanerang Kuba” (2005).

He has also been part of movie cast, to name the few: “BFF (Best Friends Forever)” (2009), “One Night Only” (2008), “Volta” (2008), Pasukob (2007), “ZsaZsa Zaturnnah Ze Moveeh” (2006)

YENG CONSTANTINO

Yeng Constantino is singer and host. Yeng has won the Pinoy Dream Academy becoming the first “Grand Star Dreamer”. After winning as the Grand Star Dreamer, Star Records launched Yeng’s debut album entitled “Salamat”, containing 10 songs, in which 7 of it where yeng’s original composition. The Album had reached its “Gold Record” two weeks after its release and then later took its “Platinum Record” after a month, followed by “3x Platinum Record” after several month of its release…

The Star Records had seen the greatness of achievement the preppy-rocker had that made them decide to make a sophomore album for the singer-composer after its multi-platinum success of her debut album… and that thing had made this…. On February 28, 2008, her sophomore album title “Journey” was launched. The carrier single of the said album is “Ikaw Lang Talaga”. The album contains 12 tracks, some of which were written by Yeng herself.

She is a mainstay host of ABS-CBN’s primetime Sunday show, ASAP. She has also hosted Pinoy Dream Academy: Season 2-Special Primer in 2008.

She has won multiple awards, to name a few: Best Female Artist 2009 from Digital Music Awards, Album of the Year 2009 from 1st WAKI OPM Awards. Best New Artist 2007 from Aliw Awards. Her Album “Salamat” has won multiple awards in Awit Awards 2008. In 2007, her song “Hawak Kamay” has also won multiple awards such as Best Theme Song from 32nd Metro Manila Film Festival and 55th FAMAS Awards.
