U.S.-Philippines Expo 2008, a grand cultural, trade, & consumer show will held its annual event on Saturday, August 9, 2008 and Sunday, August 10, 2008. U.S.-Philippines Expo 2008 will host its event at Fairplex, Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, Building 4. U.S.-Philippines Expo 2008 is located at 1101 West McKinley Avenue Pomona, CA 91768. U.S.-Philippines Expo 2008 is from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

These two days event will have Miss U.S.-Philippines Expo 2008 and Singing Star and Junior Singing Star 2008. U.S. -Philippines Expo 2008 will have Filipino celebrity performers, exhibits, kids corner, show of shows, great achievers awards, and salute to our troops event.

East on Ventura Freeway (134) to the Foothill Freeway (210) and exit at Foothill Blvd. Turn right on Wheeler Ave., proceed south to Arrow Hwy. and turn left. Follow directional signs to Fairplex.

Santa Clarita
South on Golden State Freeway (5) to Ventura Freeway (134). East to Foothill Freeway (210) and exit at Foothill Blvd. Turn right on Wheeler Ave., proceed south to Arrow Hwy. and turn left. Follow directional signs to Fairplex.

SINGING STAR AND JUNIOR SINGING STAR 2008

- Must be an amateur Filipino or Filipino-American talent
- Must be a California resident
- Must be between 10-15 years of age for the Junior Singing Star Competition
- Must be between 16-30 years of age for the Singing Star Competition
- Must provide valid proof of I.D.

Contestants will be judged according to voice quality, pitch, tempo, diction, dynamics, showmanship, and professional appearance.

Fiesta Filipina 2008 will hold the 14th Annual Fiesta Filipina in San Francisco, Saturday and Sunday on the 7th & 8th of June 2008. The event will be held at the San Francisco Civic Center Plaza in Polk Street between McAllister and Grove from 10am-6pm.

There will be 2 days of Filipino signing, dancing, cultural shows and Filipino arts and crafts. There will also be a wide variety of Filipino food to savor at this years’ Fiesta Filipina including Halo Halo, pansit, ihaw ihaw and more!
